Hedges

The hedge photos show both regular trimming and harder cuts on conifers. A typical visit means shaping the sides and top to a straight line, reducing height where a hedge has got away, and clearing every clipping from lawns and beds before leaving. Read more about hedge cutting.

Trees

Tree work covers felling, removal, reductions and crown work on garden trees. Each job is planned around what is underneath, from roofs to borders, with the branches and timber dealt with rather than left behind. See tree surgery.

Turf and landscaping

A new lawn only does well on ground that has been cleared, levelled and prepared first, which is where most of the effort in these photos went. Gravel areas follow the same idea: a firm base, then a clean finish. Find out about turf installation.

Fencing

The fence and gate shown is timber garden fencing, set out so posts, boards and the gate line up and close properly. Replacement of worn or damaged boundaries is a common request. Details are on the fencing page.

Clearance

Overgrown plots and gardens are cleared with the right machinery, including a digger where the ground needs it, so the area is left ready for whatever comes next. Learn more about site clearances.

Send Craig photos of your own job

The quickest way to a clear price is to show Craig what you are dealing with. A couple of phone photos taken from a distance, plus a rough idea of size and how easy it is to get machinery or a van close, tells him most of what he needs. Mention your town or postcode and anything awkward, such as overhead cables, a shared boundary or limited parking. Use the enquiry form to describe the job and Craig will reply about the next step, which is often a short visit to look in person.
