What a handover garden usually hides
Lift the surface on a newly finished plot and you often find plant compacted subsoil, brick ends, plastic banding, mortar droppings and sometimes a buried offcut of membrane. None of that supports grass roots.
We dig out, remove the spoil, import proper topsoil to a real depth, level and firm it, then turf. It costs more than a rolled out lawn and it is the only version that lasts.
- Rubble and construction spoil dug out and removed
- Compaction broken up so roots have somewhere to go
- Screened topsoil imported to depth where needed
- Levelled, firmed, turfed and cut in at the edges
